A unique catalogue bursting full of Christmas crafts has been released by the Pride Club at All Saints Vicarage.

People supported at the residential home in Tyne and Wear have dedicated their time to creating Christmas cards, decorations and gift boxes for sale.

Every purchase made through the catalogue will raise funds to continue the work of the Pride Club, which has focussed on the role of arts in care this year.

The people supported at All Saints Vicarage have had a wonderful time creating home-made gifts to bring cheer to Christmas 2019. They intend to release catalogues each quarter with more handmade items for sale, each collection celebrating the seasons.

For Matthew Bell, the service manager at All Saints Vicarage, it’s been a fantastic project for the Pride Club and one that’s given everyone a great deal of satisfaction.

Matthew said: “Everybody who contributed to the catalogue brought their unique vision to the crafts they’ve produced, and the results are terrific.

“The Pride Club is all about introducing the people we support to new experiences, helping them to develop skills and make contributions to the community.

“By combining the role of arts in care and the theme of employability, the catalogue reflects their hard work and will raise money for us to fund more activities. It’s been a joy to see them coming up with their creations.”

The Pride Club catalogue includes the work of Josh, Liam, Bruce, Mark, David, Dan and Lee who are all supported at All Saints Vicarage.

The group are moving on to their Spring catalogue soon, but you can still purchase Christmas items by emailing allsaintsvicarage@swantoncare.com or calling 0191 526 6326.
