The people supported at Seaham View have been getting into exercise during the lockdown, thanks to some special fitness classes.

Sarah and Verity have been doing exercise routines together with the help of support worker Stacey Jackson, who has been running physical activity sessions for them at the home.

As well as working through their routines, the girls have also been supported to buy gym clothes that are comfortable to exercise in.

They’ve both done exceptionally well in trying out new exercises and embracing the chance to keep fit during the lockdown.

Elsewhere at Seaham View, Lucy has also been keeping active with her own exercise regime.

She began to explore doing fitness activities a few weeks ago and has made terrific progress with the support of her care team.

Lucy is now interested in adding more variety into her fitness activities and is looking forward to trying out some new movements in the coming weeks.
