Seaham View’s Lucy has transformed into a bona–fide rock chick during a lockdown makeover session.
The youngster decided she wanted to have a change of image, so support worker Linda dyed and cut her hair.
Lucy selected a striking rock chick red for her hair colour and sat patiently while Linda got to work on her new look.
After a couple of hours of hairdressing magic, Lucy’s new do was completed.
Linda said, “It was great to be able to support Lucy in going rock chick.
“She was incredibly patient during the process, which involved sitting very still so as not to get the dye everywhere.
“Lucy wanted to make sure plenty of pictures were taken so she could share them with her family later on.”
During the lockdown, Lucy wasn’t able to spend face-to-face time with her family. So, to keep in touch, she’s been sharing lots of photos and sending drawings to them instead.
To complete her rock chick makeover, Lucy asked Linda to support her in applying some temporary tattoos.
The eye-catching tattoos were the perfect final touch for Lucy’s transformation and ensured her photoshoot for the family looked amazing.
Linda said: “It was great fun for Lucy, she loves her new look, and I’m so happy I could support her in making it happen.
“She was so excited with the results, so I’m looking forward to finding out what her family think of their rock chick, Lucy!”
