People supported at Seaham View had a fun-filled Easter Sunday as they battled it out some crafty competitions.

First up was the contest to create the best Easter Bonnet, where everyone raided the arts and crafts supplies to make their colourful headwear.

Armed with crepe paper, sequins, feathers and miniature chicks, the people supported at Seaham View got to work.

First place went to Christopher, with Verity, Sarah and Lloyd all getting props for their beautiful bonnets.

Next up was a ‘decorate the Easter egg’ competition, where Raymond took home the top prize thanks to his sterling efforts.

Later, the group enjoyed a game of ‘pin the tail on the bunny’, where Verity was crowned the winner.

Service Manager Dhiraj Rijhwani said it was a lovely way to spend the bank holiday weekend.

Dhiraj said: “The people we support had a great time – it was good to see their imaginations go wild for the bonnets and eggs.

“It was particularly lovely to see how they interacted as a group, and the spirit of friendship on display.

“After all the Easter activities, we settled down to enjoy well-deserved chocolate eggs – which went down a storm!”
