Birthday boy Thomas had a wonderful day at Seaham View this October, as family and friends joined in his 21st birthday celebrations.

The day began in style as Thomas unwrapped a mountain of presents and cards from his loved ones.

His mum Gail and brother Connor arrived for a birthday visit, and there were lots of hugs and smiles.

Connor then chose to have a birthday lunch outing to pick up his favourite McDonalds meal before returning to Seaham View for the afternoon.

Deputy Manager Chloe Parker said that Thomas still had lots of fun ahead of him after his lunchtime break.

Chloe said: “We wanted to make sure Thomas had an extra special day.

“After his mum and brother had visited, we set up a video call with his dad.

“Then Thomas was able to play with his presents before we gathered all the people we support to sing him ‘Happy Birthday’.

“It was a lovely moment when Thomas saw the South Park birthday cake we’d got him – it’s his favourite show.”

Thomas got a few South Park presents in his haul, including a t-shirt and a cuddly Kenny doll.

He was also given some cool balloons, including one shaped like a PlayStation controller.

Chloe added: “It was a lovely day, and Thomas enjoyed every moment.”
