There was a thrillingly scary guest list at Eastholme’s Halloween party this year as Wednesday Addams, Child Play’s Chucky, and a petrifying pirate partied with a spooky spider witch.

The ladies supported at the service wanted to make this a celebration to remember, so they went all out on decorating their home.

Using window chalks and craft supplies, the group transformed their place into a Halloween grotto complete with spine-chilling décor.

The ladies also went pumpkin picking to select the best produce to carve during a fun-filled afternoon.

Team Leader Mel Clark said that all the pumpkins were in place as the ladies donned their costumes and got ready for a disco night with all the thrills and chills.

Mel said: “Halloween is a big favourite among all the ladies we support – they love it.

“Charlotte chose to dress as Wednesday Addams, Vikki went as Chucky the doll, Katie was our spooky pirate, and Sarah was a spider witch.

“At the disco, we played all their favourite Halloween hits and dusted the cobwebs off our karaoke machine for a spooky sing-a-long.

“We also had a buffet table with all manner of ghoulish delicacies to enjoy.”

The party was the crowning event of the season and came after a Halloween film night at the service.

The group settled in to watch Hocus Pocus with bowls of popcorn and baked pumpkin seed snacks.

Mel added: “As it’s such a popular celebration, we wanted to make sure the girls enjoyed as much Halloween fun as possible.

“We did a range of activities, including the film night, Halloween drawing sessions and lots of arts and crafts.

“Everyone agreed that it was the best Halloween we’d had in years, and the ladies are already planning next year’s event!”
