Meet our team

Anthony Risker

Service Manager

I joined Swanton Care in July 2020 as a deputy manager at the Grove and progressed to service manager in October 2022. During my two years as Deputy manager, I was supported by Swanton Care to gain my level 5 qualification in leadership and management in adult care. I was also provided with the opportunity and training to become a level 3 registered Nappi (Non abusive psychological and physical interventions) trainer and gained a level 3 qualification in implementing positive behaviour support.

My aim is to continue to provide an excellent quality of life for the people we support by delivering person centred care, creating opportunities for people to chase their dreams and live everyday to the fullest and enjoy the lifestyle of their choosing. At the Grove we are committed to the delivery of high-quality support, we encourage family contact and provide regular updates and pictures with emails and calls to families.

Neil Farnworth

Divisional Director

I bring over 15 years of experience in the social care sector, having started my career as a support worker in 2009. Over the years, I have held various leadership roles, which have given me a deep understanding of both the challenges and rewards of delivering high-quality care.

I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with technology companies to develop assistive technologies, and most recently, I served as a Strategic Leader overseeing 130 services across residential, respite, domiciliary, and ISL provisions. My dedication to ensuring that care is personalised and tailored to each individual’s unique needs is central to my work, and I firmly believe that every voice matters and deserves to be heard.
