Meet our team

Liam Hodgson

Service Manager

I joined Swanton Care as a Support Worker with Seaham View in September 2018. During this time, I’ve gained invaluable knowledge and experience from both my team and the people we support. I’ve had the opportunity to grow my career within Seaham View—progressing from Team Leader to Deputy Manager, and now to Service Manager.

Over the past seven years, I’ve remained dedicated to supporting the people at Seaham View—building meaningful bonds with them and their families, and working together to achieve and maintain personal goals.

Working at Swanton Care has been hugely rewarding. I’m proud to work alongside such a dedicated team—we take real pride in what we do and are united by a shared belief in Swanton’s Ethos. Putting people’s voices at the centre of everything we do is something I feel strongly about, and it’s a key part of how I approach my role.

My aim is to deliver high-quality care through a person-centred approach, continually improving the services we offer and creating a culture of integrity and empathy. At Seaham View, we work hard to ensure the people we support are actively involved in shaping their own care—and that every moment really does matter.

Neil Farnworth

Divisional Director

I bring over 15 years of experience in the social care sector, having started my career as a support worker in 2009. Over the years, I have held various leadership roles, which have given me a deep understanding of both the challenges and rewards of delivering high-quality care.

I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with technology companies to develop assistive technologies, and most recently, I served as a Strategic Leader overseeing 130 services across residential, respite, domiciliary, and ISL provisions. My dedication to ensuring that care is personalised and tailored to each individual’s unique needs is central to my work, and I firmly believe that every voice matters and deserves to be heard.
