I joined Swanton in 2017 as a service manager and worked with the team to expand supported living services as well as manage residential homes. In time, I became regional director for the North-East in 2021. I learned very early on in my career with Swanton that the company is very passionate about the people we support, their homes and enriching their quality of life, which aligns with my own values.
I moved to England from Mumbai, India, in 2005 for education which I continued to do for several years. During this time, I integrated with people from many countries and cultures, and this helped broaden my viewpoints massively. I firmly believe this helped me to embrace diversity and value varied inputs throughout my career, which I have been in since 2006.
I understand that being in a support environment can be difficult. Together, the team and I are here to help in empowering and supporting those in our care to feel safe and live the lives they wish to lead.
I started my career as a Support Worker when I graduated university in 2004, progressing my way through Deputy Manager and Home Manager, eventually joining Swanton in 2018 working as a Locality Manager covering services in and around Hull.
I have successfully held registrations for, and worked in, a full range of services from Supported Living to challenging Residential homes.
I share Swanton Care’s passion for ensuring that the vulnerable people in our care have the best life and opportunities possible. I believe this is achieved by making sure the people we support have their voices heard and that our teams are appropriately trained ad supported to provide this care.
I feel privileged to work in such a rewarding sector with a fantastic team, I look forward to what the future will bring for the people we support and our organization.
Supporting and enabling individuals to meet or exceed their personal goals is what we do at Trinity House - Swanton Care.
Person-centred activities are encouraged on a day-to-day basis. A short drive from the coast in our own mini-bus and just next to a shopping centre, activities are not limited.
The people we support have a garden on site which holds plenty of space for outdoor activities or relaxation, which on a sunny day is an absolute must!
Trinity House is known for its homely feel and layout, where individuals are able to feel safe.
Feedback in our latest CQC’s report read; “People appeared happy and relaxed with the staff who supported them.” Afterall, Every Moment Matters.
