Tom Goes Exploring at Historical St Fagans

History, entertainment and delicious food were on the menu for Tom this summer as he enjoyed a big day out in South Wales.

Tom, who is supported at Maes Y Bryn, enjoyed a fascinating visit to the man-made historic village of St Fagans.

The site of St Fagans includes a national museum of history where visitors can explore buildings dating back across the eras to showcase life in Wales through the ages.

According to Service Manager Steve Robinson, Tom thoroughly enjoyed exploring the historical houses.

Steve said: “St Fagans is such an interesting place to visit, and we thought Tom would enjoy going around the village.

“He had a great time and was really engaged with the support staff and all the different buildings and exhibits at St Fagans.

“But the fun didn’t stop there…”

After the morning at St Fagans, Tom went to Barry Island to enjoy the fun of the arcades.

He also went to Pugh’s garden centre to look at fish in the aquariums and had a delicious meal at Taco Bell, one of his favourite eateries.

Steve added: “Tom absolutely loves being out and about, so this was a great day for him.

“It was terrific to see him enjoying himself so much and doing different activities.

“We’re looking forward to supporting Tom on more adventures this summer.”
