I have worked in adult social care for over 25 years and joined CHAD, now Linden Terrace, 8 years ago.
During my time in adult social care I have worked in a broad spectrum of services and have commissioned with many different authorities. I have supported people with varied needs and I am very passionate about providing the very best care for the people we support.
My career started as a Care Worker and to date I have worked within various professional roles with many differing responsibilities. I have a level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.
I am extremely proud of the team I work with. We ensure that every person we support is at the heart of their care.
I believe passionately about rights, choices, dignity, and respect. My team and I ensure we provide many opportunities for the people we support, helping each individual to achieve their goals.

I bring over 15 years of experience in the social care sector, having started my career as a support worker in 2009. Over the years, I have held various leadership roles, which have given me a deep understanding of both the challenges and rewards of delivering high-quality care.
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with technology companies to develop assistive technologies, and most recently, I served as a Strategic Leader overseeing 130 services across residential, respite, domiciliary, and ISL provisions. My dedication to ensuring that care is personalised and tailored to each individual’s unique needs is central to my work, and I firmly believe that every voice matters and deserves to be heard.

The people we support at Lynwood Avenue are involved in all planning of their care and are encouraged and supported to live an active and fulfilling life. Our positive behaviour support enables us to empower the people we support to explore new activities and create opportunities for themselves they may not have experienced previously.
Positive feedback from our recent CQC Report read that families were complimentary about our team at Lynnwood. They said: “The team at Lynnwood has my son’s best interests in all they do, they are brilliant." And "I love the fact they put my son first."
Every person we support at Lynwood enjoys a variety of activities on offer in a relaxed and warm environment. Community engagement is strongly encouraged.
