Intrepid Sophie Does It All At Center Parcs

Sophie’s summer holiday was packed with fun activities as she made the most of everything Longleat Center Parcs has to offer.

She and support worker Linda Stevens from Swanton’s Allt Ioan service explored the woodland idyll via the holiday park’s land train, which runs around the site.

Sophie was keen to get involved in plenty of activities, including pottery, falconry, bowling, and walking.

There were plenty of delicious meals out, plus the chance for pampering at the hair braiding station too.

According to Linda, Sophie had the time of her life.

Linda said: “Center Parcs was the perfect holiday destination for Sophie – there was so much for her to see and do.

“We had some lovely walks around the forest and lakes and took breaks to do some people-watching.

“Having the land train going around was fantastic, as we were able to cover more ground than we could on foot.

“Sophie had a terrific time.”

During the trip, Sophie showed herself to be an excellent bowler by beating her support staff at the game.

At her pottery session, she also proved to be a dab hand at decorating, creating a beautiful mermaid design.

Plus, of course, Sophie made sure to have a few sweet treats along the way too.

Linda added: “There was a sweet shop called ‘Treats’ which was Sophie’s favourite!

“We had some lovely meals out as well, and Sophie really enjoyed the food at Café Rouge.

“She told us that she had such a good time that she’d love to go back to Center Parcs again soon.”
