Trinity House and Murton Grange Manager Nicola Armstrong holds fundraising party for her son

Trinity House and Murton Grange registered Manager Nicola Armstrong is holding a fundraising party this summer in memory of her late son, Jonny.

Nicola, plus friends and family, will be hosting a ‘proper rave’ to remember 31-year-old Jonny plus raise much needed funds for the ‘If U Care Share’ charity.

The event, to be held on August 5th at Cottles will include DJs, raffle prizes donated by local businesses and Swanton, plus a lot of fun!

Nicola, who has been manager of both Trinity House and Murton Grange, for six years said they wanted to put on a night that Jonny would have loved.

She said: “Jonny absolutely adored music, DJ-ing and MC-ing, so we wanted to do something in his memory that was truly fitting.

“It has been a year since he passed away, and in that time the team at If U Care Share have been an invaluable support to me and the rest of the family.

“The work they do supporting people with mental health conditions is absolutely vital and I want to make Jonny’s legacy one of helping people who are struggling themselves, and their loved ones.”

Nicola also paid tribute to her Swanton team mates for their support over the last year and thanked them for their kindness.
