Eden View – Swanton Care is a 10 Bedroom Complex Nursing Care home in Cambridge. Situated in the lovely village of Bottisham, we offer a peaceful and natural environment tailored to those with complex clinical nursing needs, either on a permanent or respite stay.
Since Qualifying as an RGN in 2013 I have worked within a variety of social care settings. Starting in South Wales, then Liverpool, Norfolk and Now Cambridgeshire.
With each position I have gained further insight into caring for individuals within care. I have also worked my way up through experience and knowledge to my position as service manager that I hold today.
I joined Swanton Care in 2021 as one of the home managers in Swanton House. This was my 1st real step out of my comfort zone where I left caring for the elderly and started supporting people with mental health needs and learning disabilities. In December 2023 I applied for the position as Service Manager of Eden View and was successful.
I have a passion for delivering outstanding care for all of those who are in need within my service. I believe that great teamwork and a great team will produce outstanding outcomes for the people we support. I feel that working for Swanton makes me part of that great team.
I joined Swanton Care & Community in September 2021, as the Regional Director for the East Anglian Region, since then I have had the opportunity to become the Divisional Director for the East of England.
I have been a Registered Nurse (RNLD) for over 25 years, and during that time have enjoyed a varied career within a range of settings and services at a senior level.
I have an MBA and APMP qualification.
I am proud of the team that I work with & the passion that they have for their roles and the people we support. I embrace being able to make a positive difference to the lives of the people we support and our team members.

At Eden View – Swanton Care, the people we support are encouraged and supported to live an active, fulfilled life. Our relationship-centred clinical nursing care enables us to empower the people we support, to explore new activities and create opportunities for themselves they may not have experienced previously.
We have strong links to the local community, and enjoy activities in house such as our enclosed garden, the surrounding grounds and our own physiotherapy room. Walks in the surrounding area are very popular, and we have very positive and therapeutic relationships with those we support and their families.
