Blossom House is a newly renovated four bedroom “home from home” located in Rushden. Specialising in supporting children with learning disabilities to ensure they receive the best quality of care. We promote and encourage independence and provide opportunities to grow and develop. We are a highly experienced team with extensive knowledge in understanding the children within our care.

Since joining Blossom House as Service Manager in May 2025, I’ve been proud to lead a team committed to providing a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where children can thrive.
With over 14 years of experience in health and social care — including anthroposophic care and a strong background in teaching — I bring a blend of educational insight and hands-on experience to my leadership. My career has spanned both residential childcare and education, shaping a compassionate and practical approach to supporting young people and guiding my team.
At Blossom House, I’m dedicated to providing person-centred care that promotes independence, joy, and opportunity. I’m proud to lead a motivated and caring team whose work is recognised by Ofsted for its positive atmosphere, strong relationships, and the progress made by our young people.
What inspires me most is seeing children grow in confidence, recognise their own strengths, and feel truly valued — because at Swanton, Every Moment Matters.
I’m delighted to join Courtyard Care as Regional Director for the South, bringing over 20 years’ experience across respite care, children’s end‑of‑life care, complex behaviours and learning disabilities. I’ve held senior leadership roles managing children’s homes and overseeing multiple services, always with a strong focus on quality and positive outcomes. As a Registered Manager, I was proud to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Care and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, alongside several years’ experience as a trainer in behaviour management and therapeutic approaches. In my role as Regional Director, I’m committed to championing best practice, compliance and values‑led teams, ensuring every child and young person has the opportunity to thrive.
