Meet our team

Emily Jones

Service Manager

My name is Emily, and I am proud to be the Registered Manager of Fairview House. I have been part of the company for just over six years, starting as a relief support worker and progressing by developing my skills, knowledge, and experience.

I am passionate, driven, and dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of the people we support, helping them live life to the fullest. This commitment aligns perfectly with the Swanton Ethos, where we believe that Every Moment Matters in delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

I am currently completing my QCF Level 4 qualification and will continue straight to Level 5. I also hold a Diploma in Paramedic Science and a qualification in Managing and Leading a Team.

My goal is to foster a positive and happy working environment while supporting the individuals at Fairview House to develop their skills, grow in confidence, and even achieve qualifications of their own.

Zena Winstone

Regional Director

I began working in Social Care sector since January 1996, this was soon after I finished my degree in BSc Behavioural sciences. I commenced employment as a support worker with a not-for-profit organisation working with adults with learning disabilities. This was during the time when Ely hospital in South Wales was in the process transitioning people from hospital to resettle in the community into supported living accommodation.

I continued my employment with the organisation, developing in my career with various roles across the organisation, working with different models of support including supported living, respite, community support and residential manager roles.

I have worked in senior management roles for the last 15 years mainly in operations and quality assurance.  I have been a Registered Manager since 2014 with two providers in the last 27 years.

I am a trainer and been the organisational lead for person centred practise, ensuring that people supported live lives to their full potential and are encouraged to have greater choice and control. I feel passionate that people are at the forefront of their own support provision ensuring that the quality-of-service provision is exceptional.

I have recently joined Swanton Care as the Regional Director for South East Wales in August 2023 and look forward to working within this organisation to continue my career development supporting people and staff to reach their goals and aspirations.
