I joined Swanton Care as Home Manager in October 2020, bringing with me over 30 years of nursing experience. I understand how challenging it can be for someone to move into new surroundings, which is why my team and I are dedicated to supporting not only the individuals who come into our care, but also their families throughout the entire journey and beyond.
My vision for Gryphon Place is to be recognised in and around Norwich for our high standards of care, excellent facilities and compassionate approach. I want the people we support to feel truly at home here and to have the very best experience during their time with us.
Creating a happy, welcoming environment for both the people we support and the team is incredibly important to me. I believe that when staff feel valued and enjoy coming to work, it has a positive impact on everyone in the home.
It is a privilege to care for those who live at Gryphon Place, and I strive every day to ensure we provide the same level of care we would want for our own families.
I joined Swanton Care & Community in September 2021, as the Regional Director for the East Anglian Region, since then I have had the opportunity to become the Divisional Director for the East of England.
I have been a Registered Nurse (RNLD) for over 25 years, and during that time have enjoyed a varied career within a range of settings and services at a senior level.
I have an MBA and APMP qualification.
I am proud of the team that I work with & the passion that they have for their roles and the people we support. I embrace being able to make a positive difference to the lives of the people we support and our team members.

Our beautiful garden is easily accessible for wheelchair users and provides us with a space in which to offer a range of outdoor activities in the warmer months. Being only half an hour from the coast also provides a great opportunity for day trips to the beach.
Our team goes through a rigorous recruitment process and receives ongoing training to ensure that they have the skills to provide the best quality care for residents.
At Gryphon Place - Swanton Care we provide support to people aged between 18 and 65, who are living with a wide range of physical disabilities that can make independent living challenging. Our primary goal is to put the specific needs of the people we support first through individual personalised care packages. We strive to create a supportive environment, in which people we support can lead a positive and fulfilling life where they can achieve their personal goals and ambitions.
