Congratulations are in order for Andrea Evans, who has been named ‘Learner Of The Year’ by Cymru Care Training.
Andrea, a Team Leader at Swanton’s Maesteilo service, has spent two years working diligently towards her QCF Level 4.
Service Manager Nathan Greenwood accompanied her to receive the award at a special ceremony to honour winners.
Andrea said: “It was so unexpected and a lovely surprise to get this award!
“It wasn’t easy to do this course, and I had to be very self-motivated as much of it was done at home.
“I was so lucky to have a fantastic tutor, Suzanna Easton, who was always at the end of the phone when I needed help.
“The course was really interesting, and I enjoyed it, even though it was really hard work.”
“I feel really happy and proud to have been given this award, and the ceremony was lovely.”
Andrea completed her studies while working at Maesteilo in her role as Team Leader.
Nathan said: “We’re very proud of Andrea, she has done brilliantly to juggle study and work.
“It was great to go with her to the ceremony and celebrate her achievement.”
