Two talented Swanton Support Workers have brightened up Acklam House with some terrific murals.
Ayebabeledaipre Sokari and Rowan Trelfa went above and beyond to create vibrant wall art for the people they support.
Knowing that Craig, who is supported at Acklam House, is a huge fan of Aardman Animations, the duo set to work.
Now Craig has amazing Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run paintings on his bedroom walls.
Deputy Manager Jake Sawyer said: “Aye and Rowan are so thoughtful and caring.
“They are both talented artists who have recently graduated with art degrees, so the quality of the murals is outstanding.
“Acklam House is a new service, so we are in the early stages of personalising it for the people we support.
“What Aye and Rowan have done has given Craig something truly wonderful in his room, and he absolutely loves it.”
In addition to Craig’s bedroom decoration, Aye and Rowan created a stunning tree on the wall of the communal kitchen.
Jake added: “They wanted to create a family tree atmosphere to bring a sense of belonging for Craig and the people who’ll be supported here in the future.
“This project is the embodiment of the Swanton ethos because they’ve gone out of their way to make Acklam House more homely and warm.
“We couldn’t be more grateful for their hard work and dedication.”
