Halloween-loving colleagues at Baylis Place celebrated the spookiest night of the year by ‘treating’ each other to heart-warming accolades.
Although it’s a night for ghouls, ghosts and pumpkins, Team Baylis took the opportunity to carve out time for their annual staff raffle.
The raffle works by drawing winners who’ve been nominated by their peers to collect prizes.
Over the past few months, colleagues have submitted nominations when they spot somebody going over and above to help, doing a good deed, embodying the Swanton Ethos or contributing positively to the culture at the service.
Four fantastic winners were picked and enjoyed goodie bags packed with treats, not tricks.
Service Manager Jennifer Nicholas said: “We love celebrating our colleagues at Baylis Place, and the Halloween raffle has become a big favourite.
“We had some terrific nominations this year, and the winners are very worthy.
“Lois was nominated for being hard-working and dedicated to the people we support. Michala was hailed for the positive energy she brings to every shift and for always putting the people we support first.
“Meanwhile, Louise got her nomination by making huge efforts to arrange and promote activities within the home. Finally, Ernest was praised for his continued efforts to build relationships with the people we support and for his reliability and commitment.
“I’m so proud of our winners and the whole team at Baylis Place. It’s terrific to work with such inspiring and dedicated care professionals.”
