The May sunshine gave people supported at Graig Llwyd the perfect reason to kick off their 2024 BBQ season.
Thanks to a wonderfully hot weekend in Pontypridd, Samantha, Tayte and Alexis got to enjoy eating al fresco.
They first popped to the local shops to pick out their favourite BBQ meats and accompaniments.
Then, it was time to fire up the grill and get the Graig Llwyd BBQ going.
Service Manager Laura Priest said: “Everyone here loves a BBQ, and it’s always fantastic to have the first one of the summer.
“The sun was out and we’ve got a lovely garden where the people we support can sit to enjoy their meal.
“Soon, there were sausages and burgers sizzling away and delicious salads and side dishes.”
The party atmosphere was enhanced by Graig Llwyd’s musical soundtrack, which included everyone’s favourite artists and songs.
Laura added: “It’s always a great mix of music because the people we support have many different favourites.
“We can have everything from Lady Gaga to Disney, from Justin Bieber to current chart-toppers.
“It was so lovely to see the people we support enjoying their BBQ, eating outside together and just generally having a lovely summer experience.
“We hope this is the first of many Graig Llwyd BBQs if the summer weather is kind to us!”
