Bradley Gains Valuable Experience At Eden View

Service Manager Bradley Seed swapped Blossom House for Eden View this summer as he joined the complex nursing needs service as part of his latest qualification.

Bradley, who is doing his level 3 Health and Social Care NVQ, was welcomed by Service Manager Judy Cable, who praised him for his dedication and enthusiasm.

During the visits, Bradley worked alongside the complex nursing needs team at Eden View and said it was great to get an insight into how they approach their work.

Bradley said: “It was terrific to get the chance to see things from a completely different perspective by working at Eden View.

“We support people living with learning difficulties at Blossom House, whereas Eden View provides complex nursing care.

“It was interesting to see how they look after people, and some of the things I’ve learned will be really useful for me to take back to our service.

“Judy and her team were so welcoming, and I am incredibly grateful to them for helping me to complete my assessments and achieve my Level 3 qualification.”

Meanwhile, Judy said Bradley had quickly made himself ‘one of the team’.

Judy said: “Bradley totally leaned into working with our nursing and care colleagues, and rocked our scrubs dress code!

“After just two visits, he was one of the team and had got to know everyone here.

“Bradley’s placement was a great example of how Swanton colleagues can assist each other across the services to help us all achieve excellence.”
