The magic of Christmas means everything to James, so what better way for him to kick off the festive season this year than by taking a trip to Winter Wonderland?
James, who is supported at Pen Y Coed, was whisked off to the Cardiff attraction to enjoy a host of sensory delights.
He and Support Worker Anne-Marie had an amazing time exploring the rides, festive illuminations and Santa-themed decorations at Winter Wonderland.
Anne-Marie said: “James absolutely loves Christmas - this is his favourite time of the year.
“It was magical to take him to Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland so he could immerse himself in the season and all its treats.
“He loved the lights and the sensory experience of the cold wind on his face. It was just lovely to see him having such a good time.”
James also enjoyed a trip to a local Christmas market as the big day approaches, where he could look at all the gifts and goods on sale.
Anne-Marie added: “James watches Santa videos all year around, so you can imagine how excited he gets when Christmas is nearly here.
“During the festive season, he’s bouncing up and down with joy all day long because it makes him so happy, and that’s how he expresses his excitement for Christmas.
“His love of Christmas is infectious and gets us all in the mood, which is so lovely for everyone who lives at Pen Y Coed and all of us who support him here.
“James brings the magic to us all, and we feel incredibly lucky to be part of his festive experience.”
