Coronation Celebrations In Wales For King Charles III

People supported at services in Wales have enjoyed fabulous Coronation parties to herald the crowning of King Charles III.

There were celebrations galore at Swanton and Values In Care services across the nation, made more special by the new King’s long tenure as the Prince of Wales.

In Port Talbot, Team Glangarnant laid on a terrific event, complete with Royal fancy dress, Coronation arts, crafts and baking.

People supported at the service also enjoyed games of ‘pin the crown on the king’ (or queen), splat the ears on the king, and Coronation portraiture.

The party involved a spread fit for royalty, and everyone had a wonderful time celebrating the day.

At Pant Yr Odyn, it was all about the crowns as the people supported there designed their own royal headgear.

No doubt taking inspiration from King Charles and Queen Camilla, they were ready to party with their bejewelled crowns.

There was a sumptuous Coronation buffet to enjoy too, which made the whole day even more delicious.

Over in Pontypridd, Teams Tyn Y Wern and Woodland Lodge joined forces for their Coronation party.

They threw a fantastic BBQ and afternoon tea event, where the people supported at both services came together for a right royal knees-up.

The whole event was a huge success as the people supported had the loveliest time spending the day together.

Meanwhile, at Maesteilo Mansions, the service was decked out in Union Jacks for an indoor tea party for all to enjoy.

As history was made in Westminster Abbey, wonderful memories were made in Wales, and the day was unforgettable fun for all involved.
