Deanston House ‘Wear It Pink’ For Breast Cancer Awareness

Big-hearted Team Deanston House did their bit to raise awareness for breast cancer research by hosting a ‘Wear It Pink’ party.

Harley, who is supported at the service, and his team organised the event, where guests were able to enjoy karaoke, games and cakes.

While the singing, dancing and cake-devouring had everyone in great spirits, the serious message behind the party wasn’t lost.

Registered Manager Leanne Fairburn said that Harley and his support team did a fantastic job of raising awareness and making sure everyone had a great time.

Leanne said: “We’re so proud of Harley and his team for their efforts for ‘Wear It Pink’ day.

“We had a fantastic time with everybody getting into the spirit of the occasion and donning their pinkest items of clothing.

“We had some cheeky boob-themed cupcakes, but also resources talking about the importance of breast health and why we need to raise awareness.”

Wear It Pink is an annual initiative from Breast Cancer Now, which encourages people across the nation to wear the colour as part of fundraising and awareness drives for the cause.
