‘Phenomenal’ Lucy Williams has been praised for her creativity and commitment after delivering a showcase event that was out of this world.
Vocational Service Manager Lucy, who looks after Values In Care’s South and West Wales area, was tasked with hosting an event to showcase the outcomes achieved for all the people supported by VIC.
There are 72 individuals supported in VIC services, and Lucy created displays that tell incredible success stories about each person.
The event, hosted at The Hub, saw Lucy utilise every space available to shine a light on the myriad ways that VIC support people to make every moment matter.
Regional Director Zena Winstone said that everyone in attendance – including people we support, their families, colleagues and external professionals – was blown away by Lucy’s efforts.
Zena said: “Lucy is a force to be reckoned with, and her passion and determination are nothing short of phenomenal.
“She meticulously arranged displays highlighting the achievements of all 72 individuals we support.
“Her dedication ensured that every success story was beautifully captured and shared.
“One family member expressed their amazement at the effort shown and was overwhelmed by the comprehensive display of outcomes, not just for their loved one but everyone supported by VIC.
“They were deeply moved by the visible impact of our work.”
According to Zena, Lucy went even further to make the event as memorable as possible.
Zena added: “Lucy created her own merchandise for the event – including tote bags, cups and glassware to share with all the guests.
“Her creativity and commitment to making the event special was evident in every detail.
“Lucy’s efforts have not only showcased the best possible lives we strive to provide but have also touched the hearts of many. She is truly one in a trillion!”
