Deneside Christmas Wreath Is a Handmade Hit

Sarah Jane and Ruth got creative this Christmas to make a bespoke wreath for their front door.

The idea was first mooted when Sarah Jane had a chat with her Support Workers about making some festive decorations.

After choosing to make a wreath, Sarah Jane went to the local farm shop to pick out the oasis base and a selection of items to decorate it.

When she returned home to Deneside, Ruth – who is also supported there – was intrigued by the wreath-making idea and jumped at the chance to join in.

Deputy Manager Tracy Pochec said the girls had a great time working on their wreath together.

Tracy said: “The Deneside Christmas wreath is fantastic – Sarah Jane and Ruth have made a stunning job of it.

“It was a lovely way to pass the time as they popped some Christmas tunes on and got to work.

“Sarah Jane had chosen pinecones, oranges, lemon slices, green moss and orange ribbon to create the decoration.

“It was so lovely to see the girls do an activity together, and they enjoy seeing the wreath every time they walk through the front door.

“We’re so proud of them and their festive efforts!”
