East Anglia Promotions Prove Talent Goes Far

Swanton’s Owen Booker and Lisa Durba-Williams are celebrating after being promoted into new management positions.

Owen has moved into his first Registered Manager role at Swanton’s Eden View service, while Lisa will take Owen’s place as Birch House Manager at Swanton House.

Swanton House Registered Manager Nigel Snelling has worked with both Owen and Lisa for the past couple of years and supported them in developing their skills.

He said that their hard work and outstanding performance had helped them move up into their new positions.

Nigel said: “It is great to see Owen and Lisa develop and progress in their careers.

“This is Owen’s first Registered Manager role, and Eden View is a perfect fit for him and his impressive clinical knowledge.

“The people we support at Eden View have complex care needs and, as a registered nurse, Owen is ideally suited to the specific demands of the role.

“He’s a very thoughtful and responsible professional, plus he’s a true people person, with a great Liverpudlian humour about him.”

Lisa’s promotion comes after working alongside Owen and Nigel in the past year.

Nigel added: “Lisa is a natural fit for this promotion, and I was delighted when she applied for the role.

“Lisa’s a Learning Disability Nurse and has excellent clinical knowledge and a good management style.

“She works so well as part of a team, and I know she’ll be a well-respected leader.

“It’s been a great pleasure to work with Owen and Lisa and help them to reach the next stage of their career journeys.

“It gives me a great sense of pride to see them achieve their potential, and I’m excited to see where these opportunities take them.”
