Gifts For Kids Completes Mission Christmas For SSL Sunderland

Team Swanton Supported Living Sunderland has been on a mission to collect gifts for disadvantaged children this Christmas.

The generous colleagues decided to use the money usually set aside for Secret Santa presents to help others in need.

Mission Christmas is an initiative from Metro Radio that aims to ensure every child in the North East gets a present this year.

According to Deputy Manager Steph Alexander, it was the perfect way for Team SSL Sunderland to do good this festive season.

Steph said: “The thought of children having no Christmas gifts absolutely breaks our hearts.

“As soon as we heard about Mission Christmas, we knew it would be a great way to use our Secret Santa money for good.

“We’ve been able to collect 27 gifts for children of all different ages, and we took them to the donation point at our local B&M.

“It’s a privilege to do something for others, and we hope those gifts will make the children smile.”
