Grease Is The Word For Pink Lady Rhiann

Glangarnant’s Pink Ladies hit Cardiff Bay this September when Rhiann enjoyed a musical theatre break.

Dressed up as Rizzo’s gang, Rhiann and Support Workers Delyth and Fiona looked the part as they headed for cocktails and dancing.

The fun-packed afternoon was the precursor to Rhiann’s special treat – tickets to see Grease the Musical at the Wales Millenium Centre.

Service Manager Michelle Williams said: “Grease is one of Rhiann’s favourite films - she just loves it, so this was a special treat.

“It was fantastic to see the girls all dressed up as the Pink Ladies, they looked amazing.

“Rhiann loves nothing better than a girlie night, so getting the chance to do cocktails, dancing, and Grease was her ideal evening out.”

The trio stayed at Cardiff’s Coal Exchange Hotel, where they got ready for their girlie adventure.

Cocktails were calling in Cardiff Bay, so they headed off for drinks and a boogie before taking their seats at the theatre.

The production, which is choreographed by former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips, was everything Rhiann had hoped for.

Michelle added: “A fantastic time was had by all – and it’s fabulous to see Rhian living her best life.

“By all accounts, the show was brilliant and wonderful entertainment.

“Rhiann is a big fan of Grease, and she also loves Dirty Dancing and all the other films with that magical combination of story, singing and dancing.

“She’s already looking forward to the next time she and the girls get out to the theatre.”
