Helen, who is supported by our Swanton Community Services in Hertfordshire, has proudly received a Rumble Award for being Bubbly, Bright and Brilliant—a well-deserved celebration of her sparkling personality and the joy she brings to those around her.
The Rumble Awards were created to celebrate individuals who go above and beyond, making a real difference in the lives of others. Nominations come from organisations and people involved in the lives of those with learning disabilities across Hertfordshire. Award categories range from Community Hero to Spirit of Adventure.
Helen was nominated by her team for the positivity and energy she brings to every day. Since joining Swanton Community Services last year, she’s been a ray of sunshine—always smiling, always kind, and always full of life.
These annual, peer-led awards were founded in memory of Keith Rumble and celebrate the achievements and personalities of people with learning disabilities. The entire event is planned and delivered by people with lived experience, and winners are chosen by the group itself in a blind vote—ensuring fairness and authenticity.
It seems we’re not the only ones who noticed Helen’s shine—she clearly made a lasting impression.
