It’s A Happy Easter In Wales

Easter celebrations got underway nice and early in Wales as two egg-tastic events gave people supported there a chance to indulge.

At the Maesteilo Hub not one but two Easter Bunnies made a special appearance for their party; meanwhile, at Penallta Park, services in the east of the country did their annual egg hunt.

Both events were packed full of fun and involved the revellers going exploring as they tried to fill their baskets with delicious chocolate treats.

At the Maesteilo Hub, there was also the chance to take Easter photos using the gorgeous handmade frame adorned with colourful eggs.

Meanwhile, in Penallta Park, there was a fantastic opportunity to take in the glorious surroundings as they hunted for eggs and enjoyed a lovely ramble at the same time.

Vocational Service Manager Lucy Williams said: “The Easter events were so much fun, and we were thrilled to host so many of the people we support.

“It was great to have two Easter Bunnies with us to be in charge of handing out eggs at both events, and the people we support really enjoyed meeting them!

“There were lots of giggles and plenty of joy, we all have a great time when we get together.”

As well as hunting for smaller eggs, everyone was gifted a big Easter Egg to take home with them.

Alongside two Easter Bunnies were a couple of chicks, who were much taller than you might expect a baby bird to be.

Lucy added: “Thanks to all our wonderful staff who stepped in to help and make this Easter so much fun.

“The chicks were tall and a little bit cheeky, too, so that added to the spirit of the day.

“We wish everyone a very happy Easter weekend.”
