Jake Enjoys Festive Fun At Luminate Light Trail

The Christmas season kicked off in style for Jake when he visited the incredible Luminate light trial in Neath.

Jake and his Support team headed off to Margam Country Park to enjoy a magical experience as they immersed themselves in the festive attraction.

Luminate is keen to support people with different needs, so hosts sensory-friendly sessions, one of which Jake attended.

That meant he was able to relax and take in the light trials in all their glory.

Service Manager Marta Nowak said: “Jake had a terrific time at Luminate.

“The light trails are filled with pulsating, rotating and flashing light effects, which can be quite mesmerising.

“It was great that Jake was able to attend a session where they reduced the number of visitors and adjusted the volume so people with specific sensory needs could feel more comfortable.

“We were delighted to discover how inclusive Luminate is and that so many people can enjoy it thanks to these adjustments.”

The light exhibitions run across a mile-long trail and there are plenty of surprises, as well as interactive elements.

Jake particularly enjoyed whooshing through light tunnels along the way.

Marta added: “Once they’d completed the light trial, Jake chose to toast some marshmallows on the fire pit.

“It was a delicious treat to round off a fantastic trip out - what a perfect way for Jake to begin the countdown to Christmas!”
