This year’s British Care Awards regional final in Wales was a terrific celebration for Swanton’s Vincent Barton and Lucy Williams, who emerged as winners on the big night.
The winners in Wales were announced at a glitzy ceremony at the Marriot in Cardiff, where nominees gathered for the results.
Dan Y Graig’s Vincent did the double by taking home both the ‘Registered Manager’ and ‘Co-Production’ awards, much to everyone’s delight.
For Lucy, there was a victory in the ‘Activity Organiser’ category when she was declared the winner.
After all their hard work and dedication, the evening of celebration was a wonderful way to mark an extraordinary year.
Swanton CEO Gary Thompson said: “We’re so proud of Vincent and Lucy, who thoroughly deserve all the praise they are getting.
“The British Care Awards are there to recognise excellence in our industry, and both Vincent and Lucy are shining examples of Swanton’s ethos in action.
“We know the difference they both make in the lives of the people they support and the impact they have on the people who work alongside them.
“It’s fantastic to see them both recognised by the judges for their outstanding contribution.”
The regional winners at the British Care Awards go forward to compete in the finals, which will be held in Birmingham in 2025.
