There was a fantastic summer surprise for Kaye this season when she was whisked off to Cardiff Bay for a night of musical magic.
Kaye, who is supported at The Old Vicarage, was thrilled when Support Worker Courtney revealed she was going to see the hit musical Hairspray at the Millennium Centre.
There was plenty of excitement as Kaye, Courtney, and Support Worker Jordan hopped on the train to head into the city for a treat.
Happily, the Hairspray cast – which included Strictly Come Dancing star Joanne Clifton and singing legend Brenda Edwards – did not disappoint.
Courtney said: “It was fantastic to take Kaye for a brilliant night at the theatre – what a show.
“Kaye loves musicals, and Hairspray is such a fantastic one, with so many catchy tunes.
“It was a fabulous show, and Kaye enjoyed it so much she got herself a souvenir keepsake to always remember the night.”
It’s been a terrific summer for Kaye so far, who has also enjoyed a night away to the city last month and an action-packed trip to Barry Island’s funfair.
Courtney added: “It’s been great to support Kaye in getting out and about in this lovely weather and making the most of the summer.
“She had a brilliant time at Barry Island - and went on all the big rides!
“We’re going to make sure Kaye gets as many opportunities as she can to make more brilliant memories this summer.”
