This year’s Random Acts of Kindness Day was memorable for Team Maesteilo when Marky treated them to delicious cakes.
Marky, who is supported at the service, rolled up his sleeves and hit the kitchen at the Hub, where he baked some traditional Welsh cakes.
He was keen to show how much he appreciates the care and support everyone at Maesteilo gives him.
So, what better way to show kindness than to make their lives a little sweeter…
Hub Manager Karen Jeffreys said: “Marky was very excited to do something nice for everyone who supports him.
“He loves getting involved in baking sessions, and we decided that making some lovely Welsh cakes would be a great activity for him.
“Marky did a brilliant job, and the Welsh cakes turned out fantastic.”
After baking and cooling his treats, Marky took them round to his grateful support team.
Karen added: “It was lovely to see how much Marky’s act of kindness was appreciated.
“We can often forget how much little gestures have an impact on the people around us.
“It’s lovely to see Marky leading the way with showing kindness.”
