Turning 60 was magic for Phil as Team Prince Llewellyn Farm made a long-held wish come true.
For a long time, Phil has been dazzled by pictures of Winter Wonderland, so his care team decided to make his dream a reality with a trip to London.
Phil was whisked away to the capital’s Winter Wonderland for an enchanting evening of lights, games and ice sculptures.
According to Support Worker Amy Chick, Phil was in heaven from the moment they stepped through the gates of the attraction.
Amy said: “Phil loves Christmas and celebrations, so this seemed like the perfect treat to mark his 60th birthday.
“When we arrived, it was lovely to see how happy and excited Phil was by the people, the lights and the attractions.
“Part of the event was a walk through the ‘Magical Kingdom of Ice’ where we looked at Alice In Wonderland-themed ice sculptures.
“That was a real highlight for Phil, as was getting to tuck into some delicious hotdogs from the many food stalls.”
After the evening’s excitement, Phil and Amy returned to their accommodation to rest for the next day’s adventure.
They woke up and headed to The Science Museum before hitting the shops on Oxford Street for some Christmas purchases.
Amy added: “Phil loved going to The Science Museum and was especially interested in the planes they had there.
“After that, we had time to go shopping, and it was great to go up Oxford Street and see all the Christmas window displays.
“I’ve only been to London twice before, so this was a fantastic opportunity for me.
“It meant a lot that I could support Phil to have an amazing treat and such a lot of fun as he marked a big birthday.”
