Qualification Success For Dedicated Georgia and Lynn

Months of hard work have paid off for Georgia and Lynn this autumn after they both achieved their QCF Level 4 in Social Care Management.

Georgia, the deputy manager at Pen-Y-Coed, and Lynn, the deputy manager at Green Gables and Pen-Y-Fai, have both attained this vital qualification.

They have both worked incredibly hard on this next step in their flourishing careers, taking their knowledge and skills to the next level.

In the QCF in Health and Social Care Management, topics such as leadership, strategic planning, healthcare administration, organisational management, quality improvement, and finance management are among those covered.

For their Service Managers, Georgia and Lynn’s achievements are cause for celebration.

Pen-Y-Coed’s Donna Nicholas said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Georgia, and we’re incredibly proud of her.

“She’s an integral part of our team, and by broadening her skills and knowledge, she brings even more to our service.

“Professional development is very important for us at Swanton, and we’re excited to see where Georgia’s qualification takes her.”

Over at Green Gables, Service Manager Hannah Wilcox said: “I’m so pleased for Lynn because it takes a lot of hard work to achieve Level 4.

“Lynn is a fantastic deputy manager, and he’s already bringing his new skills and learning to the role.

“We’re all very proud of him for doing so well.”
