There were smiles galore from *Ravi this spring when he got to enjoy a special day of celebration in Liverpool.
Lancashire County Council put on an event for all children in the region living in care to celebrate their achievements and for being their unique selves.
For Ravi, who is supported in Warrington, the highlights were the science show and meeting a Mr Tumble character.
According to Home Manager Victoria Comrie, it was a day to remember. Victoria said: “It was such a lovely experience for Ravi. We were invited to book a two-hour slot at the Rainbow Hub for his visit."
“Ravi’s Support Workers said it was a fantastic event and that Ravi never stopped smiling and giggling. His favourite bit was going on the trampoline with Mr Tumble.”
The Lancashire County Council Celebration Event is held to praise, recognise and applaud the achievements of Looked After Children and Care Experienced Young People.
Volunteers from across Children’s Services run the event.
Victoria added: “Ravi loved his day, and the staff said he really benefitted from going along.
“We’d like to thank all those who put their time and effort into hosting this celebration.”
