Talented Sarah wowed guests at the Swanton North-East’s Christmas Party by belting out ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’.
The performance was the next step in Sarah’s journey towards auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent.
Sarah, who is supported at Seaham View, nearly took the leap to audition in Manchester earlier this year but struggled with nerves.
So, with the help of Service Manager Stuart Healer and his team, Sarah is building up her confidence by doing a series of performances over the next few months.
Stuart said: “Sarah is an unbelievable singer and her rendition of Mariah’s Christmas classic was terrific.
“We know that she will wow the judges at Britain’s Got Talent because she has an incredible gift – it’s just about getting her nerves settled.
“The North East Christmas Party was just one stop on her schedule – and she’s got lots more singing opportunities coming up.”
Having done a warm-up at The Cedars before her Christmas party performance, Sarah is going to Tynedale, Eastcliffe and Park Lodge to sing too.
She’s also hoping to sing at any Easter parties in Swanton services in her local area.
Stuart added: “It’s going to be brilliant to share Sarah’s singing with other people we support.
“Whenever she takes to the mic, everyone is bowled over by how brilliant she is.
“We’re excited for what 2023 might hold for Sarah on her singing journey.”
