Two people supported at Swanton’s West Wales services have started dating after meeting at a youth group disco.
Simon, who is supported at Maesawel, and Hannah from the Ynysdawela service first became friends after attending the youth group The Mix.
Just over two months ago, Simon and Hannah realised their feelings were more than platonic and decided to become a couple.
Now, they enjoy regular dates and are excited about their future together.
SCS Registered Manager Yvette Stallard said the romance has warmed everybody’s hearts.
Yvette said: “Simon and Hannah make a lovely couple, it’s great to see them so happy together.
“They’ve known each other for quite a long time and are a really good match.
“I was at Maesawel the other day and Simon was so excited as he was going to see Hannah that evening, which is lovely.”
As well as attending The Mix, Simon and Hannah have been having date nights at their respective services.
Yvette added: “Simon and Hannah both like to cook, so they’ve been taking turns to cook for date night.
“If Simon goes to visit Hannah at Ynysdawela, she’ll cook for him and vice versa.
“They make a big effort for each other, which is fantastic to see.”
