There was joy for Simon this autumn when he reunited with his mum after a few months apart.
Simon, who is supported at Glangarnant House, loves to spend time with his mum but hasn’t been able to catch up with her as she’s been unwell.
However, his Key Worker Becca arranged for a surprise visit to mum Christine, to Simon’s delight.
He was overjoyed to see his mum and spend time with her in the garden, and they were joined by Bernie, his mum’s dog.
Service Manager Michelle Williams said: “It’s so nice that Simon was able to have a visit with his mum - he really enjoyed it.
“He tries to ring Mum every Sunday so they can have a quick catch-up, but there’s nothing quite like meeting up in person.
“So, he was delighted to have this wonderful surprise.”
The weather was lovely as Mother and Son had their visit and played with Bernie together.
Michelle added: “It’s lovely to see the connection Simon has with his mum and for them to make more memories together.
“We’re hoping to get them together again very soon.”
