Mum-to-be Kirsty’s last day at work was one to remember when her colleagues threw her a surprise baby shower.
Everyone was in on the secret as Kirsty arrived for her final day before heading off on maternity leave, only to be granted a last-minute party.
As Kirsty is expecting a baby boy, the theme of the party was blue and there were plenty of balloons, gifts and cake.
For Service Manager Michelle Williams, it was a chance to say good luck and thank you before Kirsty left to give birth.
Michelle said: “It was lovely to be able to make a fuss of Kirsty as she starts an exciting new chapter in her life.
“She was taken totally by surprise, which made the celebrations even sweeter.
“The people we support joined in with the fun and wished Kirsty well.”
Although it’s time for her to head off, Kirsty is already making plans for a return in the near future.
Michelle added: “Kirsty says she’s going to miss her Glangarnant family but has promised to visit soon with her new baby boy.
“We can’t wait to see them both!”
