Rebranding celebrations are in full swing across our southern Swanton Community Services regions, with SCS Southampton recently hosting a vibrant event to mark its transition—and what a celebration it was!
Posters and conversations in the lead-up helped build excitement, and on the day, balloons and bunting set the scene for a brilliant afternoon. The atmosphere was buzzing, with staff and the people we support coming together for bingo, colouring, classic games like Buckaroo—and plenty of tasty treats.
One of the standout moments was Emily’s bingo win—she was absolutely thrilled. Feedback from attendees was glowing, with several already asking when the next get-together will be.
Debbie Smith, Area Manager, shared: “It was fantastic to see everyone coming together to celebrate this next chapter for SCS Southampton. The smiles, laughter, and sense of community on the day really showed how important events like these are in bringing people closer.
We know how much planning and effort goes into making events like this a success—and the team truly delivered. I’m so proud of the whole team—Jasmin, Ashleigh, and all our incredible support workers—for making the day such a success,” Debbie added. “The feedback we’ve had speaks volumes. We’re already looking forward to the next one!”
Chief Commercial Officer Kate added “A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day special, especially the support workers who ensured individuals could attend, and to Care Managers Jasmin and Ashleigh for leading the charge.”
This event was one of the first celebrations marking the rebrand to Swanton Community Services, following Swanton’s recent acquisition of several community services across the South. It was a fantastic way to officially welcome the team into the wider Swanton group.
