Swanton Hails Halloween Winners

This Halloween ended in triumph for some people supported at Swanton when they were crowned the winners of two spooky competitions.

Marky from Maesteilo Mansions and the children from Courtyard Care’s Wolves View wowed the judges with their fantastic costumes.

They were among the many people supported at Swanton who dressed up to compete for the Best Costume award.

But Marky and TW took home the joint prize thanks to their spooktacular dress-up.

Best Costume wasn’t the only award handed out, as Swanton was also looking for a Best Pumpkin Carving winner.

Ultimately, a stunningly creative spider and ghost creation from people we support at Stella Maris, Ipswich, tied with the children at Emily House Courtyard Care’s bat-themed marvel for the win.

Swanton’s Marketing and Communications Officer Viktoria Watts said: “We were inundated with fantastic entries for costumes and pumpkins across our wonderful services.

“Although we had to pick some winners, we want to thank everyone who took part for making such a big effort with their Halloween celebrations.

“Congratulations to Marky and TW for their amazing costumes, which looked absolutely terrific.

“Well done too to our pumpkin carvers from Stella Maris and Emily House who did a fantastic job.

“The bar has been set high for next year’s spooky competitions!”
