We’re honoured to be sponsoring Tim’s Terrific Tramper Trip — an inspiring 100-mile adventure along the South Downs Way, as Tim Adlam raises money and awareness for three fantastic causes close to his heart.
Taking place from 5th to 13th July, the route stretches from Winchester in Hampshire to Eastbourne in East Sussex. Tim, joined by his sister Rachel, will make the journey using a Tramper mobility scooter — a powerful symbol of independence, resilience, and determination.
Tim, who lives with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), was diagnosed last year. Refusing to let the condition define him, he’s taking on this remarkable personal challenge to give back to the organisations that have supported him along the way.
His bucket list includes a long-distance challenge walk, and the South Downs Way offers the perfect opportunity to spend time with family and friends in a place full of special memories — all while raising money for causes that mean a great deal to him.
Tim is raising money for:
“This is something I’ve always wanted to do,” says Tim. “I might move more slowly than most, but I can still get there. I'm looking forward to the journey ahead and spending time with my loved ones."
