New manager Leanne Fairburn has praised the team at Swanton Scotland for their efforts to set her up for success.
After being recruited to lead service Deanston House, Leanne was ready to embrace her new role and wanted to make a great start.
However, she says she was bowled over by the sheer amount of support she received from her Swanton colleagues and the exceptional induction she was given.
Leanne said: “I have been in leadership roles for 20 years, and I can wholeheartedly say I’ve never received such a structured induction and warm welcome.
“Not only have I been made to feel so welcome, but everything that’s been put in place to help me get to grips with Swanton and my role at Deanston House has been exceptional.
“It’s always a little daunting to start a new job in a company you haven’t worked for before, but my colleagues at Swanton have made my experience unbelievably positive.
“I’m so grateful for all the help, advice and support I’ve had.”
Strong collaboration and support are a cornerstone of Swanton’s onboarding process, and it’s vital to the organisation that new recruits get everything they need to flourish.
As such, Leanne’s experience is indicative of the hard work that’s gone into making Swanton’s induction process and company culture the best it can be.
Leanne added: “I want to thank David Brand, our Regional Director, and the wider team.
“They have all been really kind and welcoming.”
