It’s going to be a fantastic year for Swanton, and the 2025 vision has already started to take shape following the arrival of Alina Disability Support to the Swanton group.
In late 2024, Swanton completed the acquisition of Alina Disability Support, which operates services across Somerset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Dorset and Surrey.
In Alina’s services, Director Kate Ford and her teams offer a wide range of support services to people living with disabilities and complex needs who wish to live independently.
Their person-centred approach, which sees their care professionals work on individualised plans to build independence for the people they support, fits perfectly with the Swanton Ethos.
Together we will help the children and adults they support to achieve personal goals, enhance their quality of life and make every moment matter.
Kate Ford will continue in her role as Alina’s staff team transition into the Swanton Group, which will now employ 3,000 care professionals caring for 1,000 people supported across the UK.
Swanton CEO Gary Thompson said: “We are proud to announce that Alina Disability Support is now part of the Swanton Group.
“Kate and her teams do exceptional work with the people they support, and we couldn’t be happier to have them with us.
“Our plan for 2024 and beyond was to grow our reach and support more people with learning disabilities and autism.
“Bringing in Alina Disability Support is part of that vision, and we’re thrilled they are now an integral southern division of our organisation.”
