People supported at Eastcliffe are now oral health experts, having completed a terrific training session on the subject.
Everyone gathered to take part in the practical activity, where they were shown how best to care for teeth with a combination of flossing and brushing.
There’s nothing worse than the pain of a toothache, so it was incredibly valuable for the group to learn what’s good and bad for their teeth.
The session involved plenty of practical exercises demonstrating how to clean the teeth and mouth properly, which everybody did brilliantly.
According to Scheme Manager Chloe Parker, the group got an A star for effort!
Chloe said: “At Eastcliffe, we love the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
“Protecting our teeth is vital, and it’s great for the people we support to learn how to do that.
“The session was fun, informative and valuable – now we know how to floss like a boss!
“Everybody got a certificate to say they’d completed the course – so now it’s about putting what we’ve learned into action.”
