A fun-packed trip to BUZZ Parks Cardiff trampoline park left people supported by Values In Care in high spirits this January.
VIC’s Vocational Team hired out the entire venue for 38 people they support and 50 staff to enjoy a terrific session together.
There was plenty of bouncing and jumping on the trampolines, plus climbing and running around the inflatable mazes at BUZZ Parks.
Vocational Service Manager Lucy Williams said the visit gave people a chance to mix with new friends from other services and have lots of fun.
Lucy said: “What a fantastic time we had at BUZZ Parks Cardiff – the atmosphere was incredible.
“It was so lovely to see everyone enjoying an activity together and socialising so well.
“The staff enjoyed seeing their colleagues, and there were so many relaxed, happy faces.
“Everyone left in high spirits, already looking forward to the next event.”
The Vocational Team are already planning a series of meet-ups over the next few months to bring people supported across the region together.
Not only is it great for the people supported to spend time with others, but the staff get a lot out of mixing with their peers.
Lucy added: “It’s an excellent way to share our experiences and build good relationships with fellow support teams.
“We all enjoy bringing services together and creating meaningful moments for the people we support.
“The positivity and happiness these events inspire means a lot to all of us.”
